GENSAC Joins the Forum on the Arms Trade as Institutional Partner

A notable step in GENSAC’s mission toward disarmament and gender equality!
On October 8, 2024, the Gender Equity Network for Small Arms Control (GENSAC) was introduced as the latest institutional partner of the Forum on the Arms Trade. This partnership provides access to a larger network of experts and resources, helping to influence policy, strengthen advocacy, and increase the visibility of our efforts. It also fosters collaboration on critical issues, potentially leading to meaningful change in areas like arms transfers, transparency, and the gendered impacts of armed violence.
“Joining the Forum on the Arms Trade as institutional partners marks a notable step forward in our commitment to disarmament and gender equality,” said Natalie Briggs, Network Coordinator for GENSAC. “This partnership empowers our members with new expertise, amplifying their lifesaving work while advancing the empowerment of women in global security initiatives.”
